Runway Bride: How Fall Beauty Trends Can Work for Your Wedding

Want a classic bridal look for your upcoming wedding but love the new fall runway makeup?  Take a look at these versions of the hottest beauty trends that are completely wearable as your bridal makeup.

Strong Eyebrows

This look is easy to wear at your wedding, because it is still very natural-looking.  Ask your ‘Stylisted stylist to fill in your eyebrows with a color that is as close to your natural eyebrow color as possible.  If you want to amp it up a bit, try a shade darker than your natural hair color.

This picture shows lots of dark mascara that helps to balance out dark eyebrows.  Peach blush, pink-peach eye shadow, and frosted lips are all suitable for a wedding.

Blue Eye Shadow

Looking for something a little more daring?  Blue eye shadow is very popular for fall, but some of the bright blue eye shadow looks may be just a bit much for your wedding.  These pictures show versions of blue shadow that is much more suitable for a ceremony.

Use a nude color on lips so that the lavender color as pictured is not overwhelming.  Eye shadow should be applied on upper and lower eyelids.

Wine Lips

Oxblood Lips

Wine-colored lips were another huge trend on the runways for fall, and it’s a trend that you can wear right off the catwalk.  A deep red lip should be paired with cream, pink, or brown eye shadow.  A thin line of black eyeliner could also be used.  Berry lips are perfect for fall weddings because of their deep, vivid color.

You could even try ombré lips with the lip color concentrated near the inside of the lip and fading outward.

Natural Makeup

Natural Look

The easiest look to pull off for a wedding is the minimalist makeup look.  Perfect skin is very important to this look.

Use cream, brown, or light pink eye shadows.  For the most natural makeup look, use matte shadows.  Use nude or medium pink lipstick.  Keeping your lips matte goes along with the minimalist makeup theme.

Bronze Eyes

Whether choosing a regular metallic or highly-reflective eye shadow, you will look beautiful in bronze.  This color is very versatile—it can range from smoky to natural, depending on what look you want.

Use a peach-pink lip gloss or lipstick; it will match the warm colors of your eye shadow.

Smoky Cat Eyes

A gunmetal gray cat eye does not need to be too dramatic for a wedding.  The pictures shown below are smoky without being overwhelming.  Silver eye shadow near the tear ducts helps to lighten up the look.

As with any bold eye shadow, the rest of the makeup should be kept neutral, including nude lips.
