What We Love This Wednesday

The government might be shut down, but TheStylisted is doing work- bringing beauty to your home, your office, your back porch.

The weatherman dubbed this week August in October, and we're enjoying every ounce of sunlight.
On that note, let's get into what we love this Wednesday!

1. Green City Market

I'm a firm believer that you can fake being a grown up with 2 easy steps.
1) Subscribe to the New York Times-- even if you just stack'em in your hall closet (not that I've ever done that).  There might come a Sunday morning when you're slightly less hungover and you can brew a Folgers, put on cashmere, snuggle in your window seat (did I mention it's drizzling out) and become engrossed in the fill in the blank section.
...So pencil that in.

2) Get up a hint earlier and make your way to the local farmers market.  They're out there.  We promise.    Green City Market is a pleasant 6-8 min walk from us, located in Lincoln Park.  Every Wednesday morning, we've gotten in a routine of getting coffee, heading to the park, and buying whatever looks good and exciting, while sticking to our budget.  Instant grown up status, but beyond that, it's ridiculously fun.  Passionate people, selling some good looking and better tasting food.  It's less expensive or comparable to the grocery store, and you're given the opportunity to learn about what you're consuming.  Amazing.  Addictive.  Do it.  You'll love it.

2.  The Little Goat roof

Stop us if this is supposed to be a secret, (seriously, do they intentionally tell no one?) but we've now been up to the Little Goat roof twice in one week, and we can't believe how pleasant it is, and how easy it is to snag a seat.

We're not trying to spoil our chances of guaranteed seating, but in good conscience, we can't deprive the boys and girls of Chicago from such a spectacular setting.

Snacks, cocktails, tube top worthy sunshine, and a spinning goat.  Need we say more?

3) Bricks Chicago

Denial.  It's not just a river in Egypt.

We know we shouldn't be posting about rooftops and fresh produce in October so with that, we're dedicating the final "love" to Bricks- an underground pizzeria, that we imagine will keep us especially happy this winter.

Two New Yorkers loving a Chicago pizzeria? 1) Westchester obviously produces the best pizza in America.  It's science.  There's something in the water.  2) Bricks is thin crust, toppings on top... because they're called toppings.

Single ladies- there's obviously more to this.  Pizza's great- that's a given.  Cocktails and Beer aplenty- that's a plus.  Men as far as the eye can see- What now?

Newsflash- studs aren't at Wholefoods seven nights a week- and if they are- their girlfriends probably dragged them.  We found'em- at Bricks- hanging with their equally attractive and seemingly fun friends.  There's someone for everyone.  Clean cut, scruffy, tattoos... again, science, every type likes pizza.

So hit the gym a smidge harder, grab some girls, spring for a blowout before (shameless plug), and get over to 1909 N. Lincoln Ave.
