Face the New Year Looking Fab! (New Year's Eve Makeup Ideas)

Time to shine!
In need of some beauty tips that’ll kick tonight’s look up a notch?  Here are some fun ideas for makeup that will surely make a statement.
Seem tricky?  That’s what we’re here for!  TheStylisted’s stylists can help you achieve these picture perfect looks to last all night!

Champagne & glitter

This is the night to dazzle.  Highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a gold or champagne shadow to brighten, or opt for a silver shadow on your lid and underneath your lash line.  (Then pass the caviar because you look like a million bucks.)

Play with color

That “pop” of color that everyone is always referring to doesn’t have to be exclusive to your shoes or your handbag.  Introduce a bright purple or a metallic blue to line your eyes.  Since this probably isn’t something you do every day, it’ll surely be an attention grabber.  What color works best for you?

Brown Eyes: Try a teal or dark green
Blue Eyes: Copper will accentuate the blue
Grey Eyes: Navy liner will bring out the silver flecks
Green Eyes: Go for plum or anything in the purple family
Hazel Eyes: A bronze liner will highlight the gold in your eyes.

It's New Year's Eve, and you'll pout if you want to

Your midnight kiss might want to keep a handkerchief handy, but it’s worth it!  Draw the attention to your lips with a deep red or bright pink.  Consider using a stain so it’s guaranteed to last long past the ball drop.

Dare to be different
With the help of a makeup pro, try something out of the box-- a red eyeshadow or an almost-black lip with bare eyes.  Set the tone for a new adventurous year.
