What to 'do? New Year's Eve Hairstyles

The 90’s are back, and there’s no denying it.  While fashion may have wandered into the 20th Century, our hair choices have progressed far beyond Rachel Green or Kelly Taylor.  The style options seem limitless and there’s really no better time than New Years Eve to plow through Pinterest and experiment with something different.  New year, new you!

At TheStylisted, we understand the time pressures on a busy woman so we’ve helped you cut out some of the searching, and filtered our favorite must-try styles for December 31st!

Accessorize your hair

Weave an elaborate chain through a braided bun, or keep it simple with a sparkly headband.  Jewelry doesn’t have to be limited to your neck, ears, and wrist!

A little to the left

A side-swept braid or  side-swept curls give a romantic feel to any outfit.  Pair it with a white or off-white dress for a wintery feel, or juxtapose an edgy black outfit with this soft, feminine ‘do.

The ball will drop, but your hair will not

Big plans to dance the night away?  Ringing in the New Year somewhere tropical?  Get your hair off your neck with these fun up-do’s, sure to stay put well past midnight.

Big hair, big year

Teasing, pins, voluminous curls, and a few extensions!  These may not be practical 364 days of the year, but on New Years Eve, go big or go home.  Sky’s the limit when it comes to your hair (and heels, for that matter).

Right down the middle

Hard to go wrong with a sleek center part.  This simple look is perfect for a an understated evening and best paired with show stopping makeup so the hair frames a flawless face.
